Allain Gautreau

Allain J Gautreau passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont on Thursday May 4, 2017 at the age of 81 after a long battle with cancer. Born in Pre-d’en-Haut on August 22, 1935, he was the son of the late Edgar and Aurella (Boudreau) Gautreau. He was a commercial traveler until his retirement in 2000. He is survived by his two daughter; Doris (late Victor) LeBlanc and Nicole (Georges) Cormier of Cormier’s Cove; two sons, Paul (Denise) Gautreau of Pre-d’en-Haut and Michel (Kathy) Gautreau of Dieppe; nine grandchildren: Mathieu, Manuel, Germain, Luc, Martin, Melanie, Isabelle, Stephanie and Madelaine; two great grandchildren: Jonathan, Jasmine and one great grandchild due in november; two sisters, Jeannette (late Norbert) Poirier of Moncton and Melina (Ludger) LeBlanc of Little Dover Rd and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Judith-Anna (Dundon) Gautreau (Jan 6, 2015) and by four brothers, Antoine, Henri, Gerald and Gillie. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Sunday May 7 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de l’Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pre-d’en-Haut on Monday May 8 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
